Maharashtra Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday appealed to the people to keep other issues aside and vote for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also said that he kept everyone alive by providing vaccines during the Covid-19 pandemic. CM sought votes on Corona vaccines during his address in Madha and Barshi towns of 32 Solapur districts.
Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis held his first rally in Barshi, part of Osmanabad parliamentary constituency. Where NCP’s Archana Patil is contesting against Shiv Sena (UBT) sitting MP Omraje Nimbalkar. Shiv Sena (UBT) Madha falls under the Madha Lok Sabha constituency, where the BJP has re-fielded its sitting MP Ranjitsinh Nimbalkar against the incumbent Mohite Patil of the Sharad Pawar-led NCP (SP).
Dhairysheel had resigned from BJP earlier this month. The Deputy CM said, “Keep other issues aside and vote for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, because he kept us alive during the pandemic.
‘Vaccine was made under the leadership of PM Modi’
Devendra Fadnavis further said that PM Modi took the initiative and under his leadership, India not only made its own vaccine but also supplied it to other countries. He mentioned India’s ‘Vaccine Maitri’ program. Under this, anti-Covid jabs were supplied to many countries. Fadnavis said that the country was not in a strong position before Modi came to power. Earlier, people from Pakistan could easily come here and carry out terrorist attacks. The then Prime Minister went to America and complained about Pakistan but nothing happened. Today Pakistan is going bankrupt- Devendra Fadnavis
The Deputy Chief Minister said that today India is becoming prosperous, while Pakistan is moving towards bankruptcy. He said that when Sharad Pawar had almost ended (Vijay Singh’s) political career, we (BJP) were standing behind him. Now it is up to Mohite Patil to decide the future strategy. I do not think that all the members of the Mohite Patil family will agree with Dhairysheel’s decision.
Vijay Singh’s son Ranjit Singh Mohite Patil is a BJP member of Maharashtra Legislative Council. In the third phase of general elections, voting will be held on Madha and Osmanabad Lok Sabha seats on 7th May. Elections for 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra are to be held in five phases between April 19 and May 20. Counting of votes will take place on June 4.
