Russia on Lok Sabha Elections 2024: India-Russia relations are not hidden from anyone. Russia has always supported India on every issue. In this report, America had expressed concern about religious freedom in India.
The Russian Foreign Ministry expressed anger over America’s report and said that America’s target was on the ongoing conflict in India. Lok Sabha Elections 2024 is to be destabilized. Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova made the comment to Russian government-owned news network RT News.
Russia criticized America
Zakharova described the American report as insulting to India. Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said, “Washington does not understand India’s national mentality and history and is making baseless allegations about religious freedom in India.” The reason behind America’s allegations is to unbalance the internal political situation in India and complicate the general elections. Washington’s actions are clearly interference in India’s internal affairs.
Reprimanded on Pannu case also
Apart from this, Russia has also rejected the allegations of involvement of an Indian officer in the failed conspiracy to murder Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu. Zakharova said, “According to the information we have, Washington has not yet provided any credible evidence of the involvement of Indian citizens in the allegations of plotting the murder of Pannu.”

The Commission alleged that religious freedom is being violated in India.
