Sodhi had left TMKOC again
Sodhi, famous in every household for his cheerful style, had said goodbye to Taarak Mehta after being a part of the show for many years. He took this decision after being associated with the sitcom for 12 years. But Sodhi left the show for some time and joined again and said goodbye in the year 2020.
Withdrawal due to public demand
If reports are to be believed, Gurcharan Singh was a part of the show from 2008 to 2013. According to reports, he left Taarak Mehta due to some dispute with Asit Modi. But he had become so popular among his fans that people did not like to see another Sodhi in the show. After huge demand from the public, Sodhi again entered the show in the year 2014.
Why did you leave the show?
After joining Taarak Mehta in 2014, Sodhi left the show again in 2020 during the Covid lockdown. He also told the reason for leaving Taarak Mehta. Sodhi said that his father was not well and had undergone surgery. That’s why I had to stay with him, there were many other family reasons, due to which the actor left the show.
When Sodhi was drowned in debt
Many years ago, Gurcharan Singh had told about his struggle before coming to this show. According to Amar Ujala, Sodhi was struggling with many problems before coming to Mumbai. He had incurred a lot of debt. When he came to Mumbai, he had a lot of debt. When there was no hope of financial help from anywhere, Sodhi came to Mumbai. Six months after coming here, he got a role in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
