Ashish shared the shocking news of his exit from the show on his Instagram handle. Along with this, the actor wrote a long note thanking the makers and the show.
In the post, Ashish wrote, ‘It was a beautiful journey… a beautiful journey of almost 4 years as your ‘Toshu’ in Anupama… This character was completely opposite to my reality, that is why it was quite challenging to play it. It’s been a huge roller coaster ride. But what an amazing journey it has been.
‘Brought tears to my eyes’
He further said, ‘From the topper in college – MBA gold medalist, the most favorite son, the lover who runs away and gets married, the slave of the mother-in-law, the son-in-law, the greedy, the comic property dealer, to the one who is bedridden after a stroke… What all have you not done in this journey, but this journey of Toshu and his father was special for me. It brought tears to my eyes… this has all been overwhelming.
Along with this, Ashish also expressed his gratitude to the people associated with this journey and said, ‘I met some wonderful people during this journey who will stay with me throughout my life. Ashish told his second family to his fans and said- Thank you for hating me so much that I could feel your love. You guys will soon see me in some other character or maybe in my real form.
