Shahi Litchi: As soon as it rains, moisture comes in Shahi Litchi, what will happen now, scientists are telling the future situation.

Muzaffarpur, Muzaffarpur is the city of litchi. The litchi here is world famous. This time, due to extreme heat, its crop was in danger. There was a fear of the litchi bursting. But meanwhile this morning the weather changed and it rained heavily. Only the rain saved the litchi. Litchi has gained moisture and the crop is now safe. Scientists of National Litchi Research Center are engaged to improve the quality of litchi. Farmers are also happy, they were also afraid that litchi might burst due to high temperature.

Sunil Kumar, fruit scientist of Litchi Research Center, gave information to Local 18. He said that there should be moisture in the orchards for the development of fruits till they are harvested. Now the quality of the fruits will remain intact due to the temperature being down. There will be good quality litchi. In which juice and sweetness will remain intact. Due to increase in temperature in extreme heat, there is a fear of the fruit bursting and falling.

Fruit is growing fast due to rain
Fruit scientist Sunil Kumar said that if there had been rain during the days when the temperature was high, it would have had an adverse effect on the litchi. But the weather gradually cooled, which is good for litchi. If the rain continues for a long time then there is a danger of insects and worms growing in the fruit.

Harvesting expected from 15th
Due to change in weather, the hopes of litchi farmers have started increasing. There is a possibility of premature harvesting of litchi. Litchi fruit has started growing rapidly due to easterly wind. According to the scientist of Litchi Research Center, if it has rained, then the litchi will soon start turning red and growing. Farmers had earlier set May 20 as the start date for the expected harvesting of litchi, but ever since the weather has changed, litchi grains have started growing rapidly. From this it is being estimated that farmers will start harvesting Shahi Litchi from May 15 onwards.
