These are – suspense thriller-Finder-Project 1, crime thriller-Siragan, drama thriller-Rooban and horror thriller-Never Escape.

Ruban is directed by Ayyappan Subramani. He also wrote this. Arumugam Kaliyappan, Karur Ilang Karthikeyan and Raja Manogaran are the producers of this film. Arvind Babu has given the music. The story is based around a couple living in a village situated in the forest. The woman is a victim of infertility. Even today in our country, women who are unable to have children have to face social boycott. They have to listen to taunts both inside and outside the house. One has to face harassment also. This character is also facing social ostracism due to infertility. This couple wants to bring a child into their life. The story takes a dramatic turn when the couple adopts an abandoned child. Coincidentally, a tiger also comes to the village with that child. The villagers consider it a bad omen and put all the blame on the couple.

If we talk about the character dynamics of the film, the chemistry between lead actors Vijay Prasad and Gayatri Rema has been fine. Charlie and Ramar have played an important role in keeping the film engaged with the main characters. These artists left no stone unturned in making the story exciting and paced. Vijay Prasad has tried to do complete justice to the character of Shanmugam. Tried to give my best in balancing struggle and emotions.

If we talk about thematic exploration of the story, then through ‘Ruban’ the filmmakers have tried to show faith in God and over-belief, superstition about social prejudices and human aspects. At the same time, through his cinematography art, Rajendran has shot the presence of Tiger, who has spontaneously entered the beautiful world of villages, from an exciting angle.

Well, many films have already been made on this subject. The style of films like Ilayaraja, Rebel, Emekku Thozil Romance etc. also matches that of Ruban, although it has been presented in its own way.

If we talk about the cinematography of the film, Rejeev Rajendran has captured the beauty and greenery of the rural environment and the forest very well. Background music also creates sensation. In terms of acting, the actors have acted well. The film seems to wander at some places. Some scenes also seem cumbersome. The action scenes are made exactly on the lines of other South films. However, those who like watching rural films can watch it once.
